Thank, will watch this evening. You know so much more about movies than I do, bluenred. So helpful.

Okay, I watched 2/3 of part one and it stopped and stuttered, and is now replaced with part two. Part one is no longer available on youtube.

oops now part one appears to be back. No more comments from me for now, maybe this is just some weird glitch.

I am the direct product of those who chose otherwise, with my Irish-Scots-Irish-English heritage (with a bit of Welsh and Swedish).

    Great film.

The “Somebody Had To Do It” has so many levels of meaning throughout the film.

But I like best the last.

Where the mother just sees clear; realizes the world is all so petty and wrong; that all that matters is that her son live.

She doesn’t care what “lines” that might cross.

      Life. That’s all there is.

In the true renegade “Christian” tradition, Mary brings Jesus, alive, down from off the cross.

That’s why we’re here today. And always will be.
