Last year in late May, Alexa’s human-rights blog, Never In Our Names—where I used to participate, though not nearly as much as I should have—began flickering into nonexistence.
By June 1 content was available only through various back-channel methods. Knowing that eventually these doors too would close, as the site gradually dissolved into the ether, I grabbed some old pieces, and imported them here.
Then, on June 4, something like McWatt in Catch-22, I said “oh well, what the hell,” and decided to try to give some life to this place.
